Robust climber, free-flowering. Warm-toned; yellow blooms lighten as they open. Buds are reddish. Fragrance with notes of apple, tea, and red berries. Dedicated to Mrs. Dupont de Longwood, of the Admiral Coligny family, USA.
Old variety (1933), heat-tolerant. Vigorous growth with glossy dark green foliage. Blooms in waves from May to October. Large flowers (up to 12 cm in diameter), double (about 30 petals), in a delicate yellow. Abundant flowering also releases a subtle fruity aroma. Used for lattice arches, trellises, arbours, and fences.
