As with many in the Generosa series, Mme Paule Massad forms a medium-sized shrub and shows vigorous growth. Blooms appear in clusters of 3–5, and the shoots bend under their weight. The foliage is light green. The flowers are very full and variable in colour, displaying pink, cream, golden, and apricot tones. The fragrance is fruity.
