Color is pink. Strong fragrance. Blooms are very large, densely ruffled, mostly solitary. Flowers throughout the season.
In Ma Normandie, the petals form a pronounced spiral; even at full bloom, the center remains concealed.
Flowers: very large (12–15 cm), warm soft pink with a blush. Petals are slightly wavy. Blooms show rain resistance; pink speckles may develop over time. Flowers are produced singly and in small clusters for most of the season. The shrub is 80–120 cm tall with an upright habit. Foliage is dark green; young growth is crimson; few thorns.
