Flowers are light lemon-yellow, large (10–11 cm in diameter), double, with 28–30 petals and a weak fragrance. Bushes are vigorous and upright. Leaves are medium-sized, dark green, and glossy. Flowering is abundant and occurs in flushes throughout the growing season. The variety is suitable for group plantings, borders, containers, and cut flowers.

‘Lunnyj Svet’ is a grandiflora rose cultivar with lemon-yellow, very double blooms of about 10 cm (4 inches) in diameter and 28–30 petals. The foliage is dark green and glossy. The variety was bred by Vera Nikolaevna Klimenko in the former USSR in 1965. The name ‘Lunnyj Svet’ means ‘Moonlight’.
