More information
Lucetta forms a tall, spreading bush overall, and can be trained on supports as a climbing rose. The blooms are very large, semi-marginal, opening into large globes of pale pink with darker petal undersides and a yellow flush at the center. Later, in bloom, they fade to cream and almost white. The blooms carry pale stamens that subsequently turn white. Flowers are borne in clusters of 3-7. The plant is rather spiny and spreading, with bright green foliage. When grown with support it reaches 2 m, and in hot climates it can grow higher still.
