An Explorer rose with abundant flowering. Louis Jolliet is a vigorous variety with long, arching, drooping canes; it can be trained as a low climber. The blooms are pale crimson to dark pink, double, with wavy petals. They are conspicuous at a distance, appearing in clusters (brushes) of up to 30, though clusters of 5–10 are more typical. Flowering continues more or less steadily until the first frost. The foliage is glossy, dark green, and shows high disease resistance.
