Louis Gaye was the creator of the biopark and the garden "Les chemins de la rose" located in Due la Fontaine. These two facilities were designed to preserve and highlight animal and plant species, especially roses, which are the emblem of the city. In recognition of this work, a rose bearing his name was dedicated to him.
