Lord Penzance is a Hybrid Rubiginosa rose bred by Lord Penzance in the United Kingdom in 1894. It has flowers that are pink to buff with lemon-yellow shading and golden-yellow stamens. The fragrance is moderate. Blooms average about 3.8 cm in diameter and are medium-sized, single flowers with 4–8 petals, usually borne singly or in small clusters. It blooms once in spring or summer. The buds have long, leafy sepals. The plant has a bushy, climbing growth habit with small, dark green, fragrant foliage composed of 5 to 7 leaflets. It typically reaches 215 to 245 cm in height and 185 to 245 cm in width. It is hardy in USDA zones 6b through 9b and is very vigorous. The variety is pentaploid and sets hips.
