More information

Some refer to the color as lettuce, others as green or even lemon; the tone is delicately yellow with a green cast. A purely green rose has not been achieved, though breeders continue attempts; the rose cultivar Limbo is designated as green within this group. Buds are cone-shaped, with petals showing a festooned edge. At bloom, the slightly wavy petals form a bowl about 9 cm in diameter. The petal count is about 47. The fragrance is light. Bushes reach about 80 cm in height and are practically devoid of thorns. The foliage is large and glossy. Resistance to diseases and frost is average.
