More information

This climbing rose was found in a hedge along the road to Lijiang (Yunnan, China) and has been introduced to Europe. It is a vigorous liana capable of climbing to heights of more than 10 meters. It flowers early, with a flowering period of about one month. The flowers are full, soft pink, and comparable in color and size to those of ‘Mme Grégoire Staechelin’. They have a strong, fruity fragrance. In cultivation, such as when planted at the base of a support tree like Prunus ‘Kanzan’, it can cover the host and produce several hundred blooms each year from mid-April.
