More information

Medium-sized bush with a slightly spreading habit. Flowers are blood-red with a black cast, velvety, semimarginal, formed in small inflorescences. Petals are elastic and slightly wavy. As the flower opens, a bright yellow centre becomes visible. In hot weather, the petals may scorch slightly. Tolerates rain and wind well. Blooms persist for a long time; overall they do not fade or lose their form. Leaves are dark green, fairly large, leathery, and shiny. Spikiness is medium. Spines are large. Recommended for landscaping, rambatas, and group plantings.
