More information

‘Letnie Zvezdy’ (‘Летние Звезды’, ‘Summer Stars’) is a red Hybrid Kordesii rose introduced in Ukraine in 1968 by breeder Zinaida Konstantinovna Klimenko.

Flowers are red, cup-shaped, double/very full, with approximately 45–46 petals, and reach about 10 cm in diameter. They are borne in large clusters/inflorescences, sometimes up to 22 blooms per cluster. The fragrance is moderate and resembles that of wild rose/rosehip. Flowering is abundant and occurs repeatedly in flushes throughout the growing season.

The foliage is dark green, glossy, and slightly rugose (wrinkled). Bushes are compact and reach up to about 80 cm in height. The cultivar is used in group plantings and for standard/bola (bole) forms.
