Rosa ‘Lesya Ukrainka’ is a rose of domestic selection. The cultivar was obtained in 1952 (Ukraine, former USSR) by L. P. Lempitsky through a cross of New Dawn x Ophelia. The bushes are slightly spreading. Flowers are creamy-white, goblet-shaped, elongated, and fairly large (about 8–10 cm in diameter), double (about 58–67 petals), with a pronounced apple aroma. Inflorescences bear 3–5 flowers per peduncle. Shoots are sturdy and long. Flowering begins in the second decade of June and continues until frosts, with abundant bloom. The cultivar shows disease resistance and frost resistance. It is used for cutting, in group plantings, and on boles (standards). Under Ukrainian conditions it does not require winter shelter.
