Les Amoureux de Peynet is classified as a floribunda, though it is closer to a ground cover rose. It is a spreading shrub with fine, shiny foliage and produces numerous blooms. The flowers are pink, fading to pale pink, especially in bright sun. The petals are uniformly coloured. They appear in large clusters of 10–40, and flowering continues until the first frost. The shrub is disease-resistant and suitable for small gardens and patios as well as mass plantings.
