The rose is an oil-bearing (essential oil) rose. Flowers are light pink. The shrub is semi-spreading, well foliated; height 110–130 cm, diameter 140 cm. Spines are large, hooked and curved; old spines are grey, young ones range from light green to red-brown; density on shoots is 25–35 per 20 cm. The cultivar is winter-hardy, practically resistant to rust.
