Very large, mostly single flowers in a bright red tone. Sometimes there are flashes of ebony color. The bloom has the form of a classic hybrid tea rose with slightly wavy petals about the size of a child's palm. The bush is tall, upright, and slightly spreading. Leaves are rather large, leathery, with a soft sheen, medium to dark green. Blooms for almost the entire season. Disease resistance: very good. Recommended pruning: in warm climates, remove one third of the stem length; in cold climates, prune more heavily.
