More information

Lavaglut is a compact red floribunda with good disease resistance and prolific, bright bloom. It is virtually unscented. The rich dark red flowers contrast with dark, glossy foliage. Blooms are double , with golden stamens usually visible at the center. They remain on the plant for an extended period. Flowers are produced in brushes (clusters) of 10–20 and tolerate sun and rain well. The variety is strong-growing. The flowers also have a long vase life. It is somewhat susceptible to black spot, and the very dark foliage makes symptoms less conspicuous.

Very dark red rose with very dark red small flowers on a low-growing bush.

Flowers are dark red, almost black, on densely branched shoots. Foliage is glossy dark green; young leaves are olive with a bronze cast. Buds are rounded; flowers are flattened-spherical, borne in large brushes (clusters). The rose blooms throughout summer and early autumn. The bush is lush and rounded.
