More information
Laura Ford is sometimes described as a pleached patio rose, as its flowers are larger than those of miniature roses and it reaches 3m. The flowers are bright yellow at half open, with red spots on the underside of the petals. When the semi-double blooms open, the petals turn lemon yellow and take on a pink border. The flowers appear singly or in small clusters, usually 5-7 pcs, then the small orange fruits ripen. The foliage is small, dark, shiny; the bush is dense, compact. Comparatively resistant to diseases. The shoots are prickly, flexible, but the bush is erect and usually blooms from top to bottom until very late autumn.
