More information
Lady Rose is a scarlet tea-hybrid rose cultivar. It is suitable for garden planting and for use as a cut flower. The flowers are scarlet-orange, fading to coral pink. They open from slender buds; at semi-bloom the flower form is most defined, and later the petals loosen into an irregular, asymmetrical mass. Inflorescences are produced in long clusters of 5–9 flowers, occasionally one at a time. The foliage is dark green, glossy, and shows resistance to diseases. Bloom cycles follow in quick succession, with abundant flowering for a tea-hybrid rose.
