More information
Lady Meilland has medium to large, classically shaped flowers with long petals, often appearing in clusters of three, five, or even more. The blooms are pale orange with a red underside, but with age the orange tones fade and the color shifts to salmon pink. It is a tall rose with an erect bush and long shoots suitable for cutting. The foliage is dark, and in temperate climates black spot and rust can be a problem. The flowers are also damaged in wet weather, so Lady Meilland is mainly a variety for warm, dry climates.
