Deep strawberry-pink color. Strong fragrance with notes of citrus, raspberry, and vanilla. Flowers medium to large, double (terry; 26–40 petals), cup-shaped, with a nostalgic form. Branches bear mostly solitary flowers. Blooms throughout the season.

This rose bears flowers with the following characteristics. Named after a famous French pastry chef, referencing a hue close to that of his almond biscuits. Blooms are double , old-fashioned, flattened, strawberry-pink with dark caramel tones at full bloom. The scent is strong, with notes of cherry, vanilla, caramel, and grapefruit. Foliage is blue-green and shows disease resistance. Flowering is abundant throughout the entire season.
