More information
La Fontaine aux Perles® is a rose bred by Michel Adam, who worked at David Austin for a period. It produces very double, pale pink blooms (over 70 petals) up to 15 cm in diameter with a strong, fruity fragrance. Globular buds open slowly into large flowers that resemble old-fashioned roses. The plant develops sturdy shoots and bears large, dark green, glossy foliage with very good disease resistance. Flowering is abundant and long. Suitable for solitary or group plantings and also for bouquets/cutting. The foliage is notable for its size, dark green color, gloss, and disease resistance. Dedicated to the restaurant “La Fontaine aux Perles” in Rennes. The variety was bred in 1999 and introduced in 2013.
