More information
Kupferkonigin is a rose cultivar linked to recent hybrid tea breeding. Its blooms show a vivid combination of clear mustard yellow with a coppery apricot reverse. Flowers usually appear singly, sometimes in clusters of up to 5, and the colour holds well. The foliage is very disease-resistant, glossy, bronze at first and later very dark green, forming a backdrop for the petals. The bush is robust, reaching 1.5 m in hot climates, but in its native Germany it does not exceed 1 m. It repeat-flowers abundantly and tolerates rain well. Long shoots make it suitable for cutting.
