Shrub vigorous, upright, 100 cm tall. Flowers dark wine red with a black‑violet velvet tone; outer petals orange‑red; medium-sized (up to 8 cm in diameter), double, goblet-shaped, fragrant; borne singly, rarely in pairs on long, strong pedicels; buds develop rapidly. As cut flowers they keep up to 6 days. Flowering is continuous and long (from the first decade of June until frost). Resistant to powdery mildew; on the southern coast of Crimea it winters without shelter, in northern regions cover is necessary. Used for cutting and ornamental design.
