Flowers progress from long buds of purplish-pink with a silvery overlay to fully open rosettes (up to 10 cm in diameter) with numerous purplish-pink petals, giving an overall rich crimson appearance. As they age, the color deepens and purple tones appear, contrasting with the golden-yellow stamens.
The scent is fresh, with notes of raspberry, currant, geranium, and bergamot. The intensity of the aroma varies with the age of the flower.
In cut form, lasts at least 7 days.
Leaves are leathery, glossy, and finely serrated. In the middle of the bush, leaves have 5–7 leaflets.
