Karlsruhe is a rose of the Hybrid Kordesii group, classified as a climber, shrub, and climber-type floribunda. It was bred by Reimer Kordes in Germany and dates from 1957. Flowers are rose-pink to deep pink, large, and fully double with approximately 26–40 petals. The bloom form is cupped and globular, with an old-fashioned appearance. Fragrance is mild. It flowers in flushes over the growing season. The plant has a climbing growth habit. Typical height ranges from about 245 to 455 cm, with a width of about 185 to 305 cm. It is reported hardy in USDA zones 6b through 9b.
