Flowers are bright camomile-red; at opening they show a cherry-velvet hue, medium-sized, semi-double (2 rows of petals). Growth is moderate.
In most cultivars of this group, flowers are large, double, with a strong pink fragrance. Growth is upright, strong. Leaves are dark green, matte, fairly dense. With summer pruning, the cultivars are remontant (repeat-blooming). Winter hardiness is much higher than that of Tea roses.
Flowers bright red, solitary or 2–3 per peduncle, goblet-shaped, semi-double (10–12 petals), with a weak fragrance, medium size (8 cm in diameter). The blooms fade in the sun. Flowering begins in mid-June. Fruits set well. Peduncles are sturdy and of limited length. Bush height 50–80 cm. Affected by powdery mildew in mid-August.
