The cultivar name translates from Japanese as “Shiny”. Bright red flowers with a creamy-yellow reverse, moderately-mahrastic (17–25 petals), with soft fragrance; classical form when half-open, loose when fully open; borne singly on shoots and also in small inflorescences.
