A plaited variety. Dark, glossy foliage accompanies cupped, old-style blooms with a twisted, luminous center. Flowers are borne in clusters of 3–5 per truss and are freely produced. Blooms are cream with pink stripes and a rich creamy-yellow center, with more than 80 petals, and a strong fruity fragrance featuring floral summer notes, wild berries, cherry, peach, and ripe apricot. Vigorous, well-branched shrub that can be trained on a support as a plaited form; suitable for container cultivation. Shows disease resistance and tolerates cold well. Included in the collection “Souvenirs d'amour parfumes.” Named after a journalist, popular presenter, and cookery columnist.
