The variety was bred at the Nikitsky Botanical Garden by Z. Klimenko in 1985. Flowers are greenish-pink, very double (up to 70 petals), recalling the form of old roses; goblet-shaped, not opening fully; slightly aromatic; borne in inflorescences of 3–9, less often solitary, on strong pedicels. Flower diameter up to 9 cm; the lifespan of a single flower is 8–10 days; of an inflorescence 12–15 days; on the bush 30–35 days. The variety is self-cleaning and does not require deadheading of inflorescences. Flowers are resistant to fading and to unfavorable weather. Remontant: the first bloom is very abundant, the repeat is abundant. Blooming from early June to late December. Leaves are green, matte, large, 15–16 cm long and 13–14 cm wide, about 5 leaflets. Shrubs are spreading and vigorous; shoots are erect and sturdy, 2–2.2 m high. Resistant to diseases and pests. Most practical as a tall shrub without support in group and solitary plantings.

The rose ‘Jim’ shows the following coloration: open flowers are pale pink with whitish-green lower petals.

Included in the State Register of the Russian Federation. Garden group: Hybrid Tea roses. The bush is upright, height 120 cm; shoots green. Spines needle-shaped, reddish, sparse. The leaf is large, elliptical, glossy. Flowers are borne singly and in inflorescences, open; the peduncle is strong, peduncle length 100 cm. The flower is cup-shaped, double, 6 cm in diameter. Bud color greenish-pink; the flower is pink with greenish lower petals. Fragrance medium. Bud opening is slow; flowering is abundant. Remontant: the beginning of the first wave is 1 June, the end of the last wave is 20 December (Republic of Crimea). According to the applicant, the variety has strong resistance to powdery mildew and rust; heat tolerance is strong; drought tolerance is average. Recommended for the North Caucasus region.
