Flowers 4 cm across, double, with serrated petal edges, carnation-like, light mauve-pink, borne in inflorescences of 14 flowers. Petal reverses are white. Scented. Repeat-flowering. Leaves are matte, green with a tinge of grey, consisting of 9 leaflets. The bush is erect, 150-180 cm high. One of the ancestors of this rose is Rosa rugosa (Rosa-rugosa).
