Buds open readily. Flowers are dark velvety red, cup-shaped, 8–9 cm in diameter, double (25–26 petals), borne on strong pedicels, with a weak fragrance. Bushes are compact. Leaves are dark green and glossy. Flowering is prolonged. Suitable for borders and rambatas.
