More information
This rose represents the Renaissance gardens of the Château de Villandry in France. The castle gardens are open to visitors, who can identify this hybrid tea rose by the largest blooms within the estate’s rose garden: often more than 15 cm in diameter, double in form and fragrant. These very large flowers are produced from pointed buds. Owing to the dense petal texture, the blooms keep their form on the bush and in the vase, holding well when cut and displayed. The shrub shows vigorous growth in proportion to the flower size. The plant produces many strong canes, yet it remains relatively compact and not widely spreading.
