Jardins de Bagatelle produces large flowers with colouring that is creamy with a pink tinge, and dark apricot on the reverse. The colours fade slightly over time, but a cream-and-peach blend in the centre remains until the blooms die. The fragrance is strong. Flowers appear singly or in clusters of up to five on long, sturdy stems suitable for cutting. The variety adapts to varied conditions and performs in both hot and cold, wet and dry climates. Foliage is large, dark, and disease-resistant; the bush is broad and upright. Rebloom is abundant.
