More information
Renamed City of Adelaide in 1993, Jacqueline Nebout soon achieved popularity in Australia comparable to that in its native France. The variety tolerates the high temperatures and prolonged dry months characteristic of the Australian climate. The flowers are pink, a bright shade, with a slightly darker reverse of the petals. In heat they are slightly lighter, more silvery, hold colour well, and the bloom shows multiple bright pink tones. Flowers are produced in clusters of 3–10, in hot climates almost continuously. The bush is dense, branched, with bright green foliage.
