Bred by Jean Desprez (France, 1842) and by Moreau-Robert (France, 1868). This is rose is classified under Damask Perpetual, Hybrid Perpetual, and Portland. The color is light pink and has a strong fragrance with an average diameter 3.5″. It has very full rosette bloom form with occasional repeat later in the season. The height is between 3′ and 5′ with a width of up to 3′.

USDA zone 4b and warmer. It is shade tolerant and very disease resistant.
