More information
Immortal Juno remains popular worldwide, except in its native UK, where rain severely damages the blooms. It is suited to dry climates. The flowers are pink, slightly paler at the edges. Globular buds open to nearly flat rosettes with many wavy inner petals. Blooms appear singly or in clusters of up to 7 and often nod under their own weight. The foliage is small, smooth, and pale; the bush is upright, but shoots may bend under the weight of the flowers, so tying is required. The rose is prickly and may sometimes be affected by powdery mildew, while otherwise showing disease resistance.
