A spreading shrub bearing fragrant pale pink simple flowers. First flowering is the main flush; later, flowers appear singly. Height 30-40 cm, width 305 cm. Suitable for use as a ground cover. Diploid. For growing in climatic zone 4 and warmer.Immensee is the first of the fast-growing scarab and landscape roses, with vigour and health as key traits. The flowers open pale pink with a delicate pink edge, quickly fading to white. In the center is a cluster of bright golden stamens that turn brown after a day or two. They attract numerous bees and insects. Flowering is abundant, with individual flowers appearing later. Flowers appear in small clusters of 3–5, followed by many small scarlet fruits. The bush is creeping and very spreading; shoots readily root where they touch the ground. In one season it can reach 4 metres in width. The foliage is dark, fine, evergreen, and shiny. Does not suppress weeds. Can be grown as a late-flowering pleached variety.
