More information
This variety produces large, solitary flowers of deep red color with a black velvet patina, which creates golden reflections on the reverse side of the petals. Prolonged flowering period.
Henri Delbar created this variety on commission from the association "Perlimpinpin-Barbara" in memory of the actress whose creative life was accompanied by roses. The petals persistently and neatly drape the center of the flower, forming a cover over the core. The flowers are medium-sized, deep red, with light golden highlights visible on the back of the petals. The bushes are thick-leaved and can be grown as stand-alone shrubs; the healthy foliage contributes to a strong flowering effect. Used in plantings with perennials.
