Numerous bright coral-red flowers (about 40 petals) develop a coral-pink tone and a glossy surface in full sun. Buds open slowly, and the blooms have a long vase life. There is no fragrance. Foliage emerges wine-red, then quickly turns spruce-green. The shrub is upright and well-branched.
