More information

Carmine-red blooms with a purple tint along the petal margins and a white central “eye”; flowers bear 26–40 petals, are flat, lightly fragrant, and occur in small inflorescences. As the bloom ages, the purple hue becomes dominant; the shrub is vigorous, almost headingless, with light green foliage.
