More information
A large-flowered rose of its time. It is fast-growing and, partly for this reason, blooms from early summer to autumn. The shrub has a somewhat loose, open habit, but its large green foliage means it is used for beds. The semi-marginal blooms are cherry-red, with petals velvety rather than glossy. As they age, the pink tone intensifies. Fragrance is very faint.
