More information
This rose bears white, pink, and red blooms, with coloration that varies so that no two flowers are the same. The bush is vigorous, flowering with large blooms that smell of roses and raspberries.
Despite the complex hybridisation, Henri Matisse resembles the old striped rose Ferdinand Pichard. Its flowers have a crimson tone with pink stripes and streaks. Flowers appear singly or in dense clusters of up to 7. The flower-bearing shoots are long, and the variety is sometimes used for commercial cutting. It shows disease resistance.
