In 2011, Tantau Nursery introduced the cut rose Happy Piano, a light pink sport derived from the classic red form. In 2013, a variety with the same name was introduced to the market, with updated characteristics and intended for garden cultivation.
Happy Piano flowers have a nostalgic form, 6-8 cm in diameter, double, and borne in inflorescences; the fragrance is moderately strong. The foliage is glossy dark green. The bush reaches 100-130 cm in height. The variety shows resistance to powdery mildew and black spot and high rain resistance. It is repeat-flowering, suitable for flowerbeds and for cutting.
