Suitable for hedge planting, with shining red flowers. Medium-sized, semi-double blooms appear in small clusters at the ends of strong, thorny shoots. The foliage is bright green; the shrub is broad, upright, compact, up to 1.8 m.

The flowers are red, medium-sized, with a form resembling Hybrid Tea roses. A hardy framework, garlands of drooping flowers, and bright green foliage are characteristic, used for hedging.
