More information
This new cultivar has received numerous awards across Europe for its fragrance. It also bears large, goblet-shaped, crimson flowers. In South Africa it is known as Red'n'Fragrant. The blooms are informal, with wavy petals. The crimson tone fades somewhat over time, but is retained if the bloom is cut and placed in a vase. Flowers occur singly at the ends of long shoots. The shrub is vigorous, disease-resistant, with dark green foliage. It reblooms quickly and abundantly, so the bush is rarely without flowers.
