The rose flowers repeatedly in flushes throughout the growing season.
The shrub is dense, 120–150 cm tall, and strongly armed with thorns. The foliage is medium-sized, dark green, semi-glossy, and distinctly wrinkled (rugose). The plant is suitable for cultivation in USDA hardiness zones 6b to 9b.
