Large orange blooms with 17–25 petals; at the half-open stage they show the classic hybrid tea form with a flat centre, and when fully open they are cup-shaped, with a mild fragrance, borne mainly singly on shoots. The bush is dense, upright, with glossy, dark green foliage.
