Green Diamond buds are pink; when the flowers open, they become light green, chartreuse in colour. The shrub is low, upright, with dark green foliage.
Buds are oval and pointed. Flowers are greenish-white, persistent, cup-shaped, small (2–3 cm), double (30–40 petals), odorless, borne singly and in inflorescences of up to 8.
