Floribunda with large blooms shaped like Hybrid Tea roses. The flowers are coral-salmon and fragrant. Young foliage is purple and glossy, later turning dark green, and shows resistance to various diseases. The bush is upright and bushy. Reblooms quickly. Awarded by the Royal National Rose Society Trials in 1989. Winner of the British Rose Award for Best Floribunda in 1998. Received the Fragrance Award at The Hague International Rose Competition in 2003. Named in honor of the philanthropist and merchant Robert Gordon (1668–1731), founder of the school that bears his name, an independent school in Scotland.
